People-Powered Policy Prefs

Every computer program lets you set your preferences for how it operates. Now it's time for our nation to respond to your policy preferences.

When you declare your choices in the MyDeanPeople Policy Matrix, your policy prefs are combined with those of others who have real ideas on real issues. The Howard Dean campaign has agreed to review and respond to the issues you raise here. Every night, the latest Policy Prefs data is transmitted to the Dean Campaign.

This list is alphabetical. Declare your priorities by ranking the relative importance of each issue.

Dominate the Special Interests

All government responds to those with the most influence. We can't change that but we can change who has the most influence.

If you feel strongly about an issue, sign up to help establish or join a Special Interest Group (SIG) to promote your interest in that policy area. If you and others like you register their preferences with the Dean campaign, we can demonstrate that the voice of the people can be heard, and that a new kind of special interest group is "in the house". (That would be the White House).
